This resource is a spreadsheet that can be used to create a competition for this year's The Apprentice. Each week students predict who they think will be the final two candidates. Points are calculated each week depending on whether their predicted candidates are in the winning team, losing team or the boardroom. Students can swap their predictions, although this will cost them points! A leader board is included to show the current winner each week. This resource introduces the concept of needs vs wants by students sorting the importance of items via a set of cards. Students will then think about how organisations differentiate their goods or services and create a 'pitch' for it e.g. one electricity business pitching against another - how can the business encourage customers?
